Sigma - University of Nebraska
Welcome to the 616!
Kappa Kappa Gamma is one of the largest Fraternities for women in the nation, with chapters located throughout the United States and Canada. Our Sigma Chapter was one of three all-female Fraternities established at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln back in 1870. Our iconic white house was built in 1925, 55 years after our original founding, and it is known as the "616" around campus. A unique quality of Kappa Kappa Gamma is that each chapter gets to vote on new values every year. This year our values are Friendship, Inclusiveness, Accountability, Compassion, and Loyalty. Each value is a depiction of what we desire to gain through our chapter.
Kappa and our lovely chapter are more than just a house full of girls, we are brought together through endless memories, life-long friendships, and a forever connection to Kappa Kappa Gamma. Shall we always remember to Dream Boldly. Live Fully. Go Kappa!
